In May 2008, Rainier Audubon participated in the 8th Annual Tukwila Backyard Wildlife Festival.
ABOVE LEFT: Rainer member Bernedine Lund makes bird buttons for interested children (see sample button at right) with our new professional button-maker. Children could choose from a couple hundred color pictures of birds which one they wanted on their button.
ABOVE RIGHT: Ross Tabor, Deb Russell, and Carol Schulz staff the Rainier table.
BELOW: Master Birder Carol Schulz is lost in the big crowd of people who gathered to go on her Bird Walk along the Duwamish River. The poster at right was placed at the entrance to the festival and featured a picture of Carol pointing out birds to the crowd from the 2007 festival.
